Oh, no she didn't. She had to use the line "say it ain't so, Joe" and follow it with a "doggone it". I bet she's been looking for a place to use that all night. The Ohio men don't seem to like her planted lines, but occasionally the women gobble it up. Overall, people seem to be responding to Joe's seriousness with positive responses. The pattern seems to be clear here that Joe gets overall more positives and she gets the Dow Jones rollercoaster.
Joe just hit it out of the park (which is more than I can say for my lovable losers) with a line about Cheney being the most dangerous VP in American history. Top scores on the tally line!
